Gosselin is renowned as a pioneering company in the retail photo industry in Canada. They offer a complete range of products and services to their clients, be they beginners or experts.


This established Quebec brand has four outlets located in Quebec City, Trois-Rivières, Laval and Brossard, as well as an online shop. Gosselin is now entering its 86th year as a specialist in visual arts, with a strong desire to share its passion and enthusiasm for all things photography.

The mandate


Proud of its history and expertise, Gosselin was looking to showcase its Quebec heritage and to celebrate its 85th anniversary with a new brand signature and various promotional initiatives.



The objectives


Identify the theme for the promotion and the key visual elements to be integrated to the brand signature and the logo, as well as create a landing page to showcase Gosselin’s proud Quebec heritage.

The concept


The signature for the 85th anniversary was created with the intention of ensuring synergy with the current brand identity, by establishing a link with certain visual elements such as the white rectangle located in the logo’s top right corner.


The theme for the promotion became Nurturing Quebec creativity for 85 years. A theme that harks back to the original spark that, over the years, fed Gosselin’s desire to share with Quebecers – and the rest of the world – its passion for photography. Thus, 85 years of proud history were immortalized through poster advertising (including a new promotional signature), as well as a landing page that highlighted the brand’s history, ambassadors and experts.
